Artisan Cheese Share from Valley Milkhouse and Birch Run Creamery
Every other week, cheese share add-on members receive a package of artisan cheeses made by Valley Milkhouse (Berks County) and Birchrun Hills Farm (Chester County). Both creameries are small batch, family run operations producing award-winning cheeses beloved by chefs and foodies of Southeastern PA. Cheese styles will range from fresh cheeses like tangy feta and creamy fromage blanc to soft-ripened cheeses like luscious brie to aged cheeses including rustic tommes, fudgy blues and nutty alpine styles. The cheeses are handmade using traditional fermentation and aging techniques of the old world. The milk behind the cheese is produced from healthy milk in Southeastern PA.
The Cheese-makers' Selection Cheese share includes 2 cheese wedges. Pick-ups are every-other week totaling 12 weeks. Share cost is $236 for the season.
If you are unable to pay for your entire cheese share up-front, please e-mail Anton at Goodworkfarm@riseup.net to set-up a payment plan.
