Bread Shares
With delight, Good Work Farm will continue to offer bread shares from The Daily Loaf Bakery. Daily Loaf breads are moist, flavorful, and full of variety to delight your palate. Breads are made using water, salt, organic flours, and water. Some specialty loaves feature local & seasonal ingredients.
Bread Shares are baked fresh each week, but sold frozen for Friday, Saturday, and Tuesday pick-ups. Fresh breads are only available at our Thursday Zionsville site.
Daily Loaf breads freeze well! Thaw by bringing to room temperature.
The Daily Loaf believes that leavening breads with wild yeast and allowing the dough a slow cold rise provides better flavor and digestability. All of their breads rise in the refrigerator anywhere from 8-36 hours before they are baked. This fermentation process allows the gluten and phytic acid to break down allowing for better absorption of minerals and nutrients in the body.
