a bit about our farm
Good Work Farm is a small, diversified, preserved farm in Nazareth, PA. We grow vegetables, fruit, herbs, and flowers. We use sustainable growing practices to provide fresh, high quality, nutrient dense produce to our community. Please join us this season to support our work to feed our neighbors and steward this preserved farmland.

Anton Shannon
Anton was born and raised in Center Valley, and has been farming for over 15 years. He has worked on and managed farms in Kimberton, Zionsville, Germansville, Bethlehem, Easton and Northampton. He is excited and inspired to be returning to Nazareth to once again manage Good Work Farm full time. He also serves on the Upper Nazareth Township's Environmental Advisory Council, and is happy to talk land use theory and practice especially if you are willing work alongside him while you talk.

Lisa Miskelly
A Maryland-born-and-raised suburbanite, Lisa's first tastes of food production are rooted in the handful of tomato plants her Dad would basket-cage in the back-yard each summer, offering her family a few vine-ripened flavors, and an introduction to the sweetness of gardening.
Lisa spent her first farm season pasturing and milking sheep and making artisan cheese at a dairy in Southern Vermont. For the next ten years, she traversed the diverse world of small-and-medium-scale production and educational farming, spending seasons working on farms with a variety of approaches and focuses. In addition to supporting Good Work Farm, Lisa works at Pasa Sustainable Agriculture, helping to train the next generation of beginning farmers.

Rocco
The dedicated, courageous, and well-loved farm dog Rocco began farming when we adopted him, and brought him to the farm. At Good Work Farm, Rocco is our marketing-manager, vegetable taste-tester, CSA childcare supervisor, and of course, best friend.
When not barking at inanimate objects or asleep, you'll find Rocco lounging in the sun and meditating on the deeper questions of life.

Simon
Simon joined the farm crew in May 2024 when he was 3 months old. He loves pestering his big brother Rocco, catching snowballs, eating peas off the vine, and snacking on any fruit or vegetable available.
Simon also loves barking at inanimate objects or moving horses, and is looking forward to his first CSA season!
