Share Size: We intend for our LARGE share to be enough food to feed two that love vegetables in almost every meal or a larger household who use some vegetables daily in their diet. Our SMALL Share is typically a good amount for a household of 2 that like vegetables in several meals a week or a larger household that is new to seasonal vegetable eating or eats out a few days a week. If this is your first year doing a CSA, please consider trying a SMALL share. The CSA will run for 22 weeks, most likely from the first week in June through the last week in October.
Pick-up Times, Days, and Location: CSA pick-up will be On-Farm (Good Work Farm, 3477 Daniels Rd. Nazareth, PA)
Tuesday or Thursday from 2-7 pm
We want you, our members, to eat the produce we are growing for you! We therefore try our best to be as accommodating as we are able, and to help work with your needs & busy schedules. With prior notice, members are welcome to switch their pick-up day for that week, or to hold your share to accommodate a vacation. Members are also welcome to send a friend, neighbor, or family member to pick-up their share (this is a great way to share abundance with the ones you love). If your share is not picked up we will donate it to The Monocacy Farm Project in Bethlehem.
How is Good Work Farm CSA set-up?
Our on-farm Tuesday & Thursday shares are set-up market-style, where members weigh and bag their own items.
All shares include Pick Your Own: members are welcome to participate in picking their own herbs, flowers, & PYO crops as designated throughout the growing season. This is a wonderful way to teach your little ones (and learn yourself) where food comes from and how amazing our common home is.
Seeking Financial Assistance with the Good Food Fund: If the cost of our share is out of your budget, consider establishing a payment plan online, and/or applying for and using EBT/SNAP benefits to purchase your share, and/or seeking out financial assistance through our Good Food Fund to enable you to join our CSA. Please contact us to discuss your options.
Who is eligible for Good Food Funding and how do I apply? All individuals or families interested in purchasing a CSA share who express a need for economic assistance are eligible for financial support from the Good Food Fund. To seek financial assistance, please contact farmer Anton at 610-390-5777 or email us at [email protected] so that we can verify that we have the funds to meet your financial needs, and set up a payment plan which meets your economic situation.
